Dakota Communites

The Legacy Circle

The Dakota Communities Legacy Circle was established for the purpose of encouraging thoughtful planned gifts as a primary means of building a strong endowment capable of providing lasting support for the mission of Dakota Communities.

The members of the Legacy Circle are people who believe in the mission of Dakota Communities and share its commitment to ensuring the viability of the organization for the future. Legacy Circle is a means of expressing gratitude for the donor’s planned gift and encouraging others to consider the opportunity of giving.

Membership in the Legacy Circle requires a commitment which now, or in the future, will add to the Endowment Fund for Dakota Communities. There are a variety of gift programs available to qualify for Legacy Circle membership, including those that make it possible for a donor to make a significant gift while receiving life income and/or tax advantages.

Gifts to the Dakota Communities Endowment Fund will be permanently restricted where only income, not principal, will be used for services and programs that enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities or as intended by the donor.

All permanent funds established by bequests and gifts may be named in honor of the donor or his/her nominee, consistent with the purpose of Dakota Communities.

People with disabilities will always need our support and assistance. Dakota Communities is committed to being here to provide that assistance, but we need your help to continue our mission. Your gift to the Legacy Circle will ensure a viable future for people with disabilities.
